The Department of Energy is refusing to hand over a list of names of employees and contractors that work on climate change policy to the Trump transition team. The refusal to hand over names comes as concerns mount about what Donald Trump and his income administration will do with the names.

Donald Trump has famously called climate change a hoax perpetrated by the Chinese.

The full list of questions can be found here.

On Tuesday, the Department of Energy released a statement saying that the questionnaire had “unsettled” many of its employees and that it would “be forthcoming with all [publicly] available information” but that it would withhold “any individual names.”

The refusal suggests a rocky transition for Donald Trump’s Energy Department.

“We are going to respect the professional and scientific integrity and independence of our employees at our labs and across our department,” said spokesman Eben Burnham-Snyder.

Rick Perry also famously forgot the name of the Department of Energy during a debate.
