Donald Trump spent New Years Eve denying the Russian hacking and election interference.

Trump spent a few minutes with reporters at a party at his private club. During the brief question and answer session with reporters, Trump reiterated his doubts about the accuracy of U.S. intelligence analysis findings that the Russian government hacked various political organizations with the goal of helping him win the presidency.

The party itself came under scrutiny because Donald Trump chose to sell tickets to the party featuring himself as the special guest.

Trump thinks his son’s computer skills disprove Russian hack

When asked why he doesn’t believe the findings of all U.S. intelligence agencies, Trump offered up his 10-year-old son as his reasoning. Trump said,“I have a boy who’s 10 years old. He can do anything with a computer.”

These kinds of statements continue to prove that Donald Trump does not have a basic understanding of the computers and that he obviously has not surrounded himself with experts who can explain the technology to him.

And this is not the first time, Donald Trump has dismissed the U.S. intelligence agencies and shown a stunning lack of understanding of computer technology involved in hacking.

Trump also referenced the missing weapons of mass destruction as another reason he doesn’t believe the intelligence findings, saying “And if you look at the weapons of mass destruction, that was a disaster, and they were wrong. And so I want them to be sure. I think it’s unfair if they don’t know. And I know a lot about hacking. And hacking is a very hard thing to prove. So it could be somebody else. And I also know things that other people don’t know, and so they cannot be sure of the situation.”

Someone should remind Mr. Trump that the issue of missing weapons of mass destruction in Iraq was an issue of the George W. Bush administration selectively and at times ignoring U.S. intelligence consensus in order to make a bogus case for war.

Trump wants to use courier for communications

Trump went on to suggest the use of courier for his administration’s communications. “It’s very important, if you have something really important, write it out and have it delivered by courier, the old-fashioned way because I’ll tell you what, no computer is safe. I don’t care what they say, no computer is safe,” Trump said. “I have a boy who’s 10 years old. He can do anything with a computer. You want something to really go without detection, write it out and have it sent by courier.”

Trump also has a secret about the Russian hacking that he won’t tell you

Donald Trump also suggested that he knows secret information that disproves Russian involvement in the election hacking. When asked what, specifically, he knows about theRussian hacking that the rest of us including intelligence agencies don’t know, Trump said he would reveal his secret information soon.“You’ll find out Tuesday or Wednesday,” he said.
