Sean Spicer Wishes Anne Frank Center ‘Praised’ Trump for Finally Condemning Anti-Semitism

There have been a handful of bomb threats at Jewish community centers across the nation – and even vandalism at a Jewish cemetery. When Trump was pressed to comment on these tragedies, he first discussed about his electoral vote totals.

Then he suggested that there was nothing new about such behavior, saying that his administration was “going to do everything within our power to stop long-simmering racism and every other thing that’s going on, because a lot of bad things have been taking place over a long period of time.”

The Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect was quick to comment – and the Executive Director took a direct shot at Trump for not saying or doing enough. Steven Goldstein, the Executive Director, called his acknowledgement “a Band-Aid on the cancer of Antisemitism.”

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer commented on the organization’s statement in the most shocking response yet:

“I saw that statement,” Spicer said. “I wish that they had praised the president for his leadership in this area, and I think that hopefully as time continues to go by, they recognize his commitment to civil rights, to voting rights, to equality for all Americans.”

Spicer also added: “It’s ironic that no matter how many times he talks about this, it’s never good enough.”
