Senators Feinstein and Grassley emerged from a closed door meeting with FBI Director James Comey on Wednesday looking like they’d seen a ghost. The two top members of the Senate Intelligence Committee looked visably shaken and refused to answer any questions from the reporters assembled in the capitol.
All the Feinstein said was “This briefing was all on sensitive matters and highly classified and it’s really not anything we can answer any questions about.”
DC insiders are speculating that Feinstein and Grassley were informed by FBI Director Comey of the investigation that is under way into Donald Trump’s Russia connection.
