Majority Of Young Americans Don’s See Trump As Legitimate President

A majority of Americans between the ages 18 to 30 don’t see Donald Trump as a legitimate President, according to a new poll.

57 percent of young Americans polled said that they don’t view Donald Trump’s presidency as legitimate – including about 75% of young black respondents and large majorities of participants who are Latino and Asian.

According to the poll, among whites between 18 and 30, 53 percent view Trump as legitimate, though 55 percent of young whites disapprove of the job he’s doing.

62 percent of Americans between the ages of 18 and 30 disapprove of the job Trump is doing as president.

The survey of 1,833 adults was conducted from February16 to March 6, and it was conducted by GenForward, in cooperation with the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. The margin of sampling error for all respondents is plus or minus 4 percentage points.
