Bill O’Reilly Announces Vacation Amid Sexual Harassment Scandal

Tuesday’s show could be Bill O’Reilly’s last on Fox News according to reports.

As his enormous sexual harassment scandal continues to snowball, Bill O’Reilly announced at the end of his show on Tuesday that he was leaving for “a pre-planned vacation.” O’Reilly said he would return on air in a few weeks.

“We all need R&R. Put it to good use,” he told his viewers.

However, according to ta New York Magazine report, some at Fox News don’t think that Bill O’Reilly will return to the air.

New York Magazine reports that “according to four network sources, there’s talk inside Fox News that tonight’s show could be his last.”

“Lawyers for the law firm Paul, Weiss, hired last summer by 21st Century Fox to investigate Roger Ailes, are currently doing a “deep dive” investigation into O’Reilly’s behavior. They’re focused now on sexual harassment claims by O’Reilly guest Wendy Walsh after she reported her claims via the company’s anonymous hotline,” New York Magazine continued.

A bombshell report by the New York Times found that Fox News and Bill O’Reilly have paid $13 million to five different women who accused him.
