Congressional Committees Investigating Whether Trump Received Hacked Data From Russia

The Trump-Rusia investigation Just Took Another Step Forward.

The Congressional committees that are investigating collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia are now looking into whether the Trump campaign received hacked data from the Russians.

According to a new report by CBS News, The House Intelligence Committee is in the process of “scrutinizing relevant documents to see if there is a connection.”

On Wednesday, former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jay Johnson testified that 21 states had voter databases targeted.

However, the CBS News report reveals that the number is actually significantly higher.

“On Thursday, a former U.S. official told CBS News that nearly twice that many states showed evidence of a breach,” CBS News reported.
