Donald Trump Is The Least Popular President In History Of Polling

Trump has the lowest approval rating of any president in 70 years of polling.

After 6 months in office, Donald Trump’s approval rating is the lowest of any president in the past 70 years, according to a new poll.

Just 36 percent of Americans in the ABC News/Washington Post poll released Sunday approve of the job Trump is doing, while 58 percent disapprove.

Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen 6 points since another ABC News/Washington Post poll 100 days into his presidency.

The poll results come after it was revealed that Trump’s campaign (Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort) met with several Russians who promised damaging information from the Russian government about Hillary Clinton.

A strong majority of Americans, 63 percent, say that meeting was inappropriate.

And 60 percent of Americans say Russia tried to influence the campaign.

When asked about Donald Trump’s effectiveness as president, only 38 percent said he’s making significant progress on his agenda, while 55 percent said he is not.

A whopping two-thirds of Americans say they don’t trust Donald Trump to negotiate with world leaders on America’s behalf. And 48 percent, say the U.S.’s world leadership has become weaker under Trump.

About the poll:
The ABC News/Washington Post poll of 1,001 adults, conducted between June 10-13, has a margin of error of 3.5 percent.
