Flynn Likely Cooperating With Mueller Investigation: Report

Mueller may have flipped Flynn.

Michael Flynn’s legal team has notified Donald Trump’s lawyers that they will no longer discuss Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation, a sign that Flynn may be cooperating.

The New York Times first reported the bombshell news, which was later confirmed by the Washington Post on Thursday.

The end of Flynn’s legal cooperation with the president’s team strongly indicates that Flynn is now cooperating with prosecutors – or at a minimum negotiating the terms of his cooperation.

In recent days, Flynn has told friends that he is worried about his son’s potential legal jeopardy.

Flynn’s legal team had previously been cooperating with Trump’s. However, as the New York Times reports, “That agreement has been terminated, the four people said. Defense lawyers frequently share information during investigations, but they must stop when doing so would pose a conflict of interest. It is unethical for lawyers to work together when one client is cooperating with prosecutors and another is still under investigation.”

The notification by Flynn’s team led the Trump lawyers to believe that Flynn was at least moving towards cooperation with Mueller.
