Trump’s Approval Rating Plummets In Georgia: Poll

Trump won the state by more than five points in November.

President Trump’s job approval rating in the state of Georgia has plummeted, according to a new poll.

Trump won Georgia in 2016 by more than 5 points. However, according to a new Atlanta Journal Constitution poll, Trump’s job approval rating stands at just 36.7 percent.

At the same time, a whopping 58.7 percent of residents in Georgia disapprove of the job performance of President Trump.

These job approval numbers are stunningly bad for a Republican President in the deep south and track with the results we saw in the Alabama Senate race.

The new numbers are also a massive Trump’s approval numbers a year ago in the same poll when Georgia voters were roughly split in their approval of Trump.

About the poll: The poll was conducted Jan. 3-5 and Sunday through Wednesday. The margin of error is 3.2 percentage points.
