Democrats Just Flipped Another GOP District
Democrat Margaret Good is the 36th Democrat to win a Republican district since Trump’s inauguration.
Democrats are on a roll.
On Tuesday night, Margaret Good became the 36th Democrat to flip a Republican seat since Donald Trump was inaugurated.
Good won the special election for Florida’s 72nd state representative district by a 52 to 45 margin.
The Democrat beat out Republican James Buchanan, whose father serves the area in Congress.
Notably, Donald Trump won the district in 2016 by 5 points. And Republicans hold a 13,000 voter registration advantage in the district making the Democratic flip even more impressive.
