It seems like the stuff of a poorly writing political television drama, but in fact, it is very real and very disturbing.

Donald Trump is literally siding with Russian over America

Donald Trump, the incoming U.S. President is publicly rejecting the work and analysis of the U.S. intelligence community in favor or Russian intelligence and a cyber criminal living in hiding – Julian Assange.

And his latest words on the dispute between Russian intelligence services and the U.S. intelligence community, Donald Trump appears to be siding with the Russians.

More bizarre Trump tweets

In a series increasingly bizarre tweets over about 12 hours between late Tuesday and early Wednesday, Donald Trump continued his attacks on the validity of the U.S. analysis that the Russians helped him win the presidency. But what is even more troubling is that this time, Trump is quoting Julian Assange – the founder of the Russian-aligned Wikileaks group that actively worked undermine Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign by publishing a series of stolen emails.

Trump’s first tweet Tuesday night claimed the U.S. intelligence community was delaying a meeting with him in order to buy more time to build their case saying, “The ‘Intelligence’ briefing on so-called ‘Russian hacking’ was delayed until Friday, perhaps more time needed to build a case. Very strange!”

The only problem with that is that it is completely false, the intelligence briefing was always planned for Friday and people within the intelligence community are not sure why Trump is claiming otherwise.

Then came another series of tweets that continue to slam the U.S. intelligence community while praising the Russian intelligence community and their ally Julian Assange.

The tweets started early Wednesday morning:

“Julian Assange said “a 14 year old could have hacked Podesta” – why was DNC so careless? Also said Russians did not give him the info!”

Trump’s next tweets quoted Assange in slamming the U.S. media coverage, “: Julian Assange on U.S. media coverage. Here is the entire series of tweets:
