Republican Congressman Just Revealed Multiple FISA Warrants On Trump Team

House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes raced to the White House on Wednesday to brief Trump on “incidental” surveillance that occurred during the presidential transition period on the Trump and his team.

Nunes was trying to help vindicate the president on his claim that President Obama had Trump Tower wiretapped.

However, it appears that Nunes also just revealed the existence of multiple FISA surveillance warrants on the Trump team. Meaning that intelligence officials had sufficient probable cause to convince a judge to issue a warrant.

Here is the thing about FISA warrants, they are meant for surveillance of a foreign power or the agents of a foreign power. So which of these were Trump and team talking to?

Nunes also said that the intelligence was legally collected which of course means that Trump is in bigger trouble than he may have thought.

The other thing to remember is that Nunes is the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee which is tasked with oversight of the executive branch, so him running to the president as soon as he found this information is beyond inappropriate.
