74 percent of Americans want to see Donald Trump’s tax returns

According to a new ABC News/Washington Post poll just about three-quarters of Americans think Donald Trump should release his tax returns.

According to the poll, seventy-four percent say Trump should release his tax returns, which Donald Trump continues to refuse to do. In fact, in his first press conference in six months last week, Donald Trump said that no one other than members of the media want to see his tax returns.

Donald Trump also continues to claim he in under audit.

Methodology

This ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted by landline and cellular telephone Jan. 12-15, 2017, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 1,005 adults. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points, including the design effect. Partisan divisions are 31-23-37 percent, Democrats-Republicans-independents.
