New Poll: Donald Trump’s favorable rating is 34 percent

Another day, another new poll confirming that Donald Trump is set to take office as the least popular president… possibly ever. With just a few days before Trump takes office, a new Monmouth University poll shows that only 34 percent of Americans view Donald Trump favorably. That is compared to 46 percent who have a negative opinion of him, according to the poll which was released Tuesday.

In the same poll, President Barack Obama has very high, 56 percent approval rating and remarkably low 38 percent disapproval rating.

Americans think Donald Trump will help the rich

The new Monmouth University poll was conducted between Jan. 12 and Jan. 15 and found 55 percent of Americans surveyed say they think Trump will help the wealthy a lot. And that 54 percent think he will help Wall Street bankers a lot.

The poll had a sample size of 801 adults and a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.

The new Monmouth poll is the latest in a series of new polls that show Donald Trump is incredibly unpopular.
