As the day wore on Saturday, the crowds of protesters at JFK Airport and other airports around the country continued to grow. Donald Trump’s draconian Muslim-ban and refugee ban has left people stopped at airports around the country but it seems that Americans are not going to sit quietly while the president implements a refugee and Muslim-ban.

According to the New York Times, Becca Heller, the director of the International Refugee Assistance Project said, “We’ve gotten reports of people being detained all over the country. They’re literally pouring in by the minute.”

The New York Times also reported the hastily written executive order is being received “chaotically, with agencies and officials around the globe interpreting it in different ways.”
