Trump Tries To Blame Media For Making Obamacare ‘Look So Good’

One Monday, Donald Trump tried to blame the media for making his health plan look bad and for making Obamacare “look so good.”

Hey Donald, the media isn’t making Obamacare look good. The reason Obamacare looks so good is that people know that your plan will cost millions of people their health insurance.

“So the press is making it look so wonderful that if we end it, everyone’s going to say, ‘Oh, remember how great ObamaCare used to be? Remember how wonderful it used to be? It used to be so great?’” Trump said to reporters in the Roosevelt Room.

Donald Trump also tried to suggest that the situation was similar to people’s opinions about Barack Obama.

“It’s a little bit like President Obama,” Trump said. “When he left, people liked him. When he was here, people didn’t like him so much. That’s the way life goes. That’s human nature.”

Actually Donald, President Obama was significantly more popular than you are during the same period of his presidency. And you might have a point that once Americans compare Obama to your chaos and destruction, there is no doubt that Americans miss Obama.

Trump also tried to send a message to fellow Republicans saying, “The Republicans, frankly, are putting themselves in a very bad position — I tell this to Tom Price all the time — by repealing Obamacare.”
