Report: Nunes Was On White House Grounds Day Before Surveillance Claims

It was reported Monday morning that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes was on White House grounds the day before he announced the incidental surveillance of the Trump transition team.

Nunes said he was on grounds for meetings “to confirm what I already knew.”

Nunes hastily made a press announcement last week and ran over to the White House suggesting there was incidental surveillance of Trump transition members however he refused to provide details on who his source was.

The revelation that Nunes was on White House grounds raises the question that the White House leaked the information to him as a way to give political cover Donald Trump’s bogus claim that former President Obama ordered wiretapping of Trump Tower.

It was also reported last week that Nunes hastily jumped out of an Uber and disappeared for several hours the night before his announcement.
