In the same poll, Donald Trump’s disapproval rating continued to climb as well reaching a new high of 59 percent of Americans who disapprove of the job Donald Trump is doing.

Unlike previous presidents who enjoyed a “honeymoon” period in the first 100 days of their precidencies, Donald Trump’s approval rating started relatively low and has continued to fall during the first 60+ days of his presidency.

The Gallup poll is based on a rolling average and daily results are based on telephone interviews with approximately 1,500 national adults with a margin of error of ±3 percentage points.
