Donald Trump’s Approval Rating Plummets In New Poll

A new poll finds that Donald Trump’s approval rating has dropped 11 points since last month.

Just 34 percent of Americans approve of Donald Trump’s job performance as president. And 56 percent of Americans disapprove of Donald Trump’s job performance, according to a new poll.

The latest Investor’s Business Daily (IBD)/TechnoMetrica Institute of Policy and Politics (TIPP) survey found that the 34 percent approval rating represents an 11 point drop in Donald Trump’s approval rating since last month’s poll.

The poll also found that Donald Trump is losing support from independents and Republicans. According to IBD, a month ago 40 percent of independents approved of Trump job performance and today only 29 percent of independents support him.

And more critical for Trump is that his support from Republicans is also sliding, the IBD poll found that Trump’s approval rating from Republicans dropped 14 points since last month.

The IBD poll also found that 49 percent of Americans say Donald Trump’s leadership is weak.

The IBD/TIPP poll was taken from March 24-30, and includes responses from 904 people across the country, giving it a margin of error of +/-3.3 percentage points.
