The former National Security Council spokesperson Ned Price blasted Trump following a story that he shared highly classified information with the Russian foreign minister and ambassador.
When asked about the story Ned Price said “This is really the nightmare scenario for the intelligence community.”
According to a report by the Washington post, Donald Trump revealed highly classified intelligence information to the Russian foreign minister and ambassador during a meeting in the Oval office last week.
Current and former U.S. officials told the Washington Post that Donald Trump shared information from a critical source of intelligence on the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
The classified information that Trump shared with the Russians was provided to the U.S. by a partner through an intelligence sharing arrangement and according to the report, the partner did not give the United States permission to share the information with Russia.
