Trump’s Disapproval Rating Just Hit An All-Time High

The number of Americans who disapprove of Donald Trump’s job performance as president just hit an all-time high.

According to the new Gallup poll, a whopping 60 percent of Americans disapprove of Trump’s job as president.

Trump approval rating in the poll stands at just 36 percent – one point above his all-time low.

Donald Trump has a net negative rating of -24 points, an unprecedented number in the history of polling.

Trump’s approval rating has remained at historic lows compared with all other presidents since Gallup started polling.

On March 28, Trump’s approval rating hit a low of 35 percent with 59 percent disapproving. Today’s results mark the first time that Trump’s disapproval rating has exceeded the previous high set in March.

For reference, neither former President Barack Obama nor Bill Clinton ever reached 60 percent disapproval in the Gallup survey. And George W. Bush reached the 60 percent disapproval mark about five years into his presidency.

About the poll: Gallup tracks daily the percentage of Americans who approve or disapprove of the job Donald Trump is doing as president. Daily results are based on telephone interviews with approximately 1,500 national adults; Margin of error is ±3 percentage points.
