John McCain Was Asked If He’s Seen The Republican Health Bill. His Answer Was Perfect.
Senator John McCain was asked Tuesday whether he has seen a copy of the Republican health care bill… and his answer was hilariously perfect.
Asked if he has seen a copy of the legislation, McCain said he has not.
“Nor have I met any American that has,” he added, according to Bloomberg. “I’m sure the Russians have been able to hack in and gotten most of it.”
The exchange was first reported by Bloomberg.
McCain is the latest Senate Republican to blast party leadership over the secrecy of the Obamacare repeal process.
Senator Susan Collins said “I’m very eager to see the language.”
Collins also indicated that she is a NO vote on the bill. “I don’t think it gives enough time to thoroughly analyze the bill, but we’ll see when it comes out,” she said.
