New Poll Confirms Just How Little Support The GOP Health Bill Has.

The Republican Senate health care bill has just as little support as the House version does, a new NPR/Marrist poll confirms.

According to the poll, just 17 percent support the Senate bill to repeal Obamacare.

Additionally, 55 percent say they disapprove of the Republican plan.

The poll also found that nearly half of all Americans, 46 percent, want to change Obamacare to be even more far-reaching.

Senate leadership on Tuesday decided to delay the vote on the Obamacare repeal bill after as many as nine Republican senators announced they would not support the bill.

The Congressional Budget Office found that the Senate bill would cause 22 million people to lose their insurance.

About the poll: The NPR-PBS NewsHour-Marist poll, which surveyed 1,205 adults between June 21 and 25, has a margin error of 2.8 percentage points.
