Trump Jr’s Lawyer Has Extensive Experience With Mob And Cybercrime Cases: Report

You don’t bring a knife to a gun fight and I guess Donald Trump Jr. isn’t bringing a divorce attorney to the Russia investigation.

Trump Jr. has hired Alan Futerfas, an attorney with extensive experience in cyber crimes and mafia cases, according to a new report by BuzzFeed News.

On Monday, after admitting to meeting with a Kremlin-linked lawyer who promised to give him dirt on Hillary Clinton, Trump Jr. confirmed that he had hired Alan Futerfas to represent him in the Russia case.

Futerfas’s law firm specialized in white collar crime, and Futerfas has personally represented people with alleged ties to New York’s Bonanno, Gambino, Genovese, and Colombo crime families, BuzzFeed reports.

“Futerfas has also handled several cybercrime cases. His clients have included a Russian man who created computer malware and rented it out to criminals to rob banks, and an Israeli man who was one of several defendants charged in a massive hack of consumer data from JPMorgan Chase and other financial institutions, according to BuzzFeed.
