Kremlin Lawyer That Met With Trump Jr Represented Russian Spy Agency

Natalia Veselnitskaya’s deep Kremlin ties include representing the FSB, Russia’s spy agency.

The Russian lawyer that met with Donald Trump Jr. in June of 2016 promising damaging information about Hillary Clinton has deep connections to Russian intelligence.

According to a new report by Reuters, newly unearthed documents confirm that Natalia Veselnitskaya represented Russia’s FSB – the successor to the KGB – in a real estate case between 2005 and 2013.

“The documents show that the lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, successfully represented the FSB’s interests in a legal wrangle over ownership of an upscale property in northwest Moscow between 2005 and 2013,” Reuters reports.

As part of the Obama Administration’s retaliation for Russia’s election interference, the US placed sanctions on the FSB.

Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort all attended a meeting in with Veselnitskaya after Russian associates of the Trump family who promised support from the Russian government to Donald Trump’s campaign.
