Number Of Voters Who Want Trump Impeached Has Reached All-Time High

A majority of voters say Donald Trump should be impeached.

The number of Americans who want Donald Trump to be impeached has climbed to an all-time high.

The new Public Policy Polling survey found that for the first time ever a majority of voters want President Trump to be impeached.

The poll found that 51 percent of American voters support impeaching Trump, while 42 percent opposed impeachment.

But that’s not the only bad news that the PPP poll had for Donald Trump. A majority of voters – 53 percent – also think Trump should resign over the sexual harassment allegations against him from over a dozen women.

Voters overwhelmingly oppose the GOP tax bill. Just 29 percent of voters support the bill. And 49 percent say that they would be less likely to support a member of Congress who supports the bill.

Other interesting numbers from the PPP survey:

  • Just 38 percent of voters think Trump is honest, while 57 percent say he’s not.
  • 62 percent of voters still want to see Trump’s tax returns
  • 51 percent of voters believe Trump is mentally unbalanced
  • 51 percent of voters support impeaching Trump compared to 42 percent don’t

About the poll: Public Policy Polling surveyed 862 registered voters on December 11th and 12th. The margin of error is +/-3.3%.
