GOP Strategist Says Russians Have Phrase For Trump: ‘Useful Idiot’ (Video)

Longtime Republican strategist Steve Schmidt explained the reason President Trump seems to be so easily manipulated by Russian President Vladimir Putin and it’s pretty frightening.
“There’s a phrase the Russians use,” Schmidt said. “It’s called ‘useful idiot.'”
Schmidt explained that the term was first coined by Vladimir Lennon to describe naive western sympathizers.
“Vladimir Putin is clearly looking at an American president thinking he has a ‘useful idiot,'” Schmidt continued.
