Jury Finds Paul Manafort Guilty On 8 Charges

The president’s campaign chairman has been found guilty on multiple federal charges

After about four days of deliberation, the jury in the Paul Manafort case has delivered a guilty verdict on 8 charges including:

• 5 counts of tax fraud
• 1 count of failing to file a foreign bank account
• 2 counts of bank fraud

The guilty verdict for President Trump’s campaign chairman comes on the heels of the news that Michael Cohen, Trump’s longtime business associate, has agreed to cooperate with federal prosecutors.

The 8 guilty verdicts against Manafort represent the first major court victory in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
