Prosecutors in the Southern District of New York have ordered Trump’s inauguration committee to turn over documents about its donors, finances, and activities. According to a bombshell new report in the The New York Times, a lawyer working for the Trump inaugural committee received a subpoena on Monday seeking a range of documents, including ones related to the committee’s donors and event attendees. Support for Trump’s border wall is sinking. A new set of polls released Sunday confirm that Americans firmly blame President Trump and Congressional Republicans for the government shutdown. According to a Washington Post/ABC News poll, 53 percent of Americans place blame for the shutdown on Trump. At the same time 29 percent blame Democrats while 13 percent blame both sides.
