Maddow’s Ratings Continue To Climb In Trump Era

Ratings for The Rachel Maddow Show continue to climb. In February, the show experienced impressive year-over-year ratings growth. Maddow’s show is the highest rated show on MSNBC and now the second highest rated cable news show for the month of February. These are the best ratings for the 9 p.m. hour since November 2012.

 

The ratings growth at MSNBC out paces both CNN and Fox News.

Here are some key numbers:

  • MSNBC viewership grew 55% in prime time viewing compared to February 2016
  • MSNBC viewership in the prime time news demo grew 41%
  • Total day viewership grew 53%
  • The Rachel Maddow Show” averaged 2.3 million total viewers and 528,000 viewers A25-54

MSNBC ratings have been climbing since Election Day and in February the network beat rival CNN for the third straight month according to Nielsen.
