Senator Bob Menendez Joins Democrats Filibuster
Senator Menendez joins filibuster becomes the final Senate Democrat to announce their position on Donald Trump’s Supreme Court pick.
Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey announced on Monday that he will join the Democrat filibuster of Neil Gorsuch, Donald Trump’s Supreme Court pick.
Menendez was the last Senate Democrat to announce a position on Neil Gorsuch’s nomination.
“Based on his record, judicial philosophy and indirect and evasive answers during the hearings, I cannot support either cloture or final passage on Judge Gorsuch’s nomination” Menendez said in a statement.
Menendez joined 42 other Democrats who are all opposing Gorsuch and supporting the filibuster.
