Karen Handel May Have Just Had A Fatal Moment During Debate With Jon Ossoff.

Republican Karen Handel may have a had a fatal moment during her debate against Jon Ossoff.

Hadel admitted, after a question from a voter, that she doesn’t support a “livable wage.”

“This is an example of the fundamental difference between a liberal and a conservative: I do not support a livable wage,” she said in response to a viewer question about raising the minimum wage.

“What I support is making sure that we have an economy that is robust with low taxes and less regulation.”

Democrat Jon Ossoff, said that “the minimum wage should be a living wage.”

Ossoff also noted that he supports raising the minimum wage gradually so that businesses can slowly adapt to the increase.

The debate Tuesday night, which was broadcast by Atlanta’s WSB-TV, was the first in the Georgia 6th congressional district special election runoff.
