Nearly Half Of Voters Say Trump Obstructed Justice

New Poll Has Some Very Bad News For Donald Trump.

A new poll has more troubling news for Donald Trump and Republicans. According to a new Public Policy Polling survey, half of voters think Donald Trump obstructed justice.

The new poll found that 49 percent say that they think Trump committed obstruction of justice, while 41 percent say Trump didn’t obstruct justice.

But those weren’t the only troubling numbers for Donald Trump.

According to the poll, just 37 percent of voters think Donald Trump is honest, while 56 percent say Trump is not honest.

But many voters go further, with 53 percent say that Donald Trump is a liar.

Near-majority of voters support impeachment

Additionally, a near-majority of voters support the impeachment of Donald Trump. According to the poll, 47 percent of voters favor impeachment.

Dean Debham, the president of Public Policy Polling, said about the poll results, “Voters have little faith that Donald Trump is telling the truth when it comes to
the Russia investigation. Most go so far as to say they think he is a liar.”

Voters trust Comey more than Trump

The former FBI director is far more credible to voters than Donald Trump.

According to the new poll, 51 percent of voters say they trust James Comey more than Donald Trump.

The poll also found that 53 percent of voters believe the reason for Comey’s firing is the Russia investigation.

About the poll: Public Policy Polling surveyed 811 registered voters between June 9th and 11th. The margin of error is +/-3.4%. 80% of participants, selected through a list based sample, responded via the phone, while 20% of respondents who did not have landlines conducted the survey over the internet through an opt-in internet panel.
