Trump’s Approval Rating Has Tanked In Three Key Swing States He Won In 2016: New Poll

Voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are losing faith in Trump – bigly.

Trump won narrow victories in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin helping him clinch the 2016 election. But according to a new poll, Donald Trump’s approval rating in those states has hit rock bottom.

The new NBC/Marist poll found that Trump’s approval rating is below 40 percent in all three states.

Trump’s approval rating in Michigan is 36 percent with 55 percent disapproving.

In Pennsylvania, Trump’s approval rating is at 35 percent with 54 percent who disapprove.

And in Wisconsin, Trump’s approval rating stands at 34 percent and 56 percent disapproving of him.

In 2016, Trump won the three states narrowly by a combined total of 80,000 votes.

But it’s not just Trump’s approval rating that is a warning sign for Republicans.

“Democrats enjoy double-digit leads in Michigan and Pennsylvania on the question of which party voters prefer to control Congress after the 2018 midterms, and they hold an 8-point advantage in Wisconsin,” according to NBC.

In fact, in all three states, more than 60 percent of voters go so far as to say that Donald Trump has embarrassed them.
