Cohen Confirms Donald Trump Knew About Trump Tower Meeting In Advance

Mueller is about to flip Michael Cohen and he’s got a massive amount of dirt to share with the Special Counsel.

“The confirmation that Donald Trump knew in advance of the meeting means and that he approved his senior campaign officials to take a meeting with Russian agents who were offering dirt on Hillary Clinton is proof of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.”

Donald Trump knew in advance and approved of the meeting with Russian agents in Trump Tower during the campaign, according to several news outlets.

According to CNN, “Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney, claims that then-candidate Trump knew in advance about the June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower in which Russians were expected to offer his campaign dirt on Hillary Clinton, sources with knowledge tell CNN. Cohen is willing to make that assertion to special counsel Robert Mueller, the sources said.”

“Cohen’s claim would contradict repeated denials by Trump, Donald Trump Jr., their lawyers and other administration officials who have said that the President knew nothing about the Trump Tower meeting until he was approached about it by The New York Times in July 2017,” the CNN report goes on to note.

Both CNN and NBC News have confirmed that Michael Cohen plans to testify to Special Counsel Mueller that Donald Trump not only knew in advance about the Trump Tower Russia meeting but also approved the meeting.

“The confirmation that Donald Trump knew in advance of the meeting means and that he approved his senior campaign officials to take a meeting with Russian agents who were offering dirt on Hillary Clinton is proof of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.”

“Cohen alleges that he was present, along with several others, when Trump was informed of the Russians’ offer by Trump Jr. By Cohen’s account, Trump approved going ahead with the meeting with the Russians, according to sources,” according to CNN.
