Joe Biden Inches Closer To 2020 Presidential Run

Former Vice President, and everyone’s favorite uncle, Joe Biden just took a major step towards a 2020 presidential run.

On Thursday, Biden officially filed paperwork to create the American Possibilities PAC.

The story was first reported by the New York Times, which noted “The organization formalizes what has already been apparent from Mr. Biden’s schedule: He very much wants to keep open the prospect of seeking the presidency for a third time…. By creating a political organization, Mr. Biden, 74, is also sending an unmistakable message to the many other Democrats eyeing the White House that he is not planning to quietly recede into retirement.”

The PAC will give Biden a platform for nurturing ties with donors, traveling on behalf of the Democratic Party and contributing to candidates in future election cycles.

Earlier in May, Biden criticized Hillary Clinton’s campaign saying, “I never thought she was a great candidate,” he said. “I thought I was a great candidate. Hillary would have been a really good president.”

Biden had considered running in 2016 but decided against it because of the death of his son Beau.
